Nuits-Saint-Georges Village is crafted from Pinot Noir grapes sourced from seven separate plots: Les Plateau, Les Crots, Les Belles Croix, Les Fleurières, Les Brûlées, and Les Chaliots. Most of these plots are situated south of Nuits-Saint-Georges on a hillside with rich soils consisting of a blend of clay, alluvium, and limestone pebbles. The exception is Les Crots, which grows on the hill's peak in fine brown limestone soil. This 2021 wine offers a vibrant and elegant profile with aromas and flavors of black cherry, blackberry, spice, and minerals. It displays terrific harmony and a long, fruit-filled aftertaste, with firm and supportive tannins on the finish. Enjoy best between 2025 and 2045.
