Armand de Brignac is a Champagne brand whose wines stem from fine terroirs in the Montagne de Reims. 
At the dawn of the 21st century, Jean-Jacques Cattier and his son, Alexandre Cattier, decided to create a unique and prestigious champagne. The Ace of Spades Brut Gold champagne, the first edition of Armand De Brignac champagne was unveiled in 2006. Stemming from a rigorous selection of plots and comprising a blend of the last three vintages harvested, this champagne expresses a lively fresh fruity character with a supple texture. This Ace of Spades Brut Gold was voted Best Champagne in the world by the Fine Champagne magazine. 
In the same year, the Armand de Brignac brand experienced a drastic rise thanks to the American musician, Shawn Carter (famously known as Jay-Z). The appearance of an Armand De Brignac Ace of Spades Brut Gold bottle in one of the artist’s music videos marked the starting point of this wine's unprecedented ascension, which quickly became one of the emblems of the worlds of show business and nightlife.
In 2014, Shawn Carter bought the Armand De Brignac brand, leaving the Cattier family to produce this exceptional champagne. In 2021, he sold 50% of the shares to Moët Hennessy, the wine and spirits branch of LVMH.
