Wild Duck Creek is a name synonymous with cult Heathcote Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. Proprietor and vigneron David 'Duck' Anderson maintains an idiosyncratic style, with wines that push the limits of ripeness and alcohol levels but still remain light and balanced. The winery's success stems from meticulous vineyard management (in transition to biodynamics), traditional vinification and long-term barrel ageing. From Yellow Hammer Hill to the sought-after 'Duck Muck', Wild Duck Creek's full-flavoured wines stand out from the rest.
