"An exceptional cuvée, it takes its name from an old watchtower. We reserve it for the best vintages. It comes from a draconian selection of the best grapes from great localities: Côte-Blonde, Côte-Brûne, Moutonnes . These are the oldest Serine vines in the estate (up to 60 years old), giving very low yields. Aging is mainly done in 228 liter barrels for 3 years. Sustained color, dark ruby robe. Framed by eloquent oak, the nose claims the power of an abundant expression where the refined neatness of the fruit blends with bouquety, spicy and siliceous notes. The rich palate with aromas of mocha, old boy's jam, cocoa... offers a voluptuous balance and a firmness coated with the structure. Goes wonderfully with small quails or stuffed pigeons."
