Artadi Tradición is a young red wine from the D.O. La Rioja produced by the Artadi winery. This is a single-variety Tempranillo wine made as a tribute to the traditional methods used in Laguardia.
The grapes used to make the Artadi Tradición wine grow in Laguardia at an altitude of between 450 and 700 metres. The vines are cultivated using integrated viticulture and taking great care of the environment by avoiding the use of herbicides and pesticides. The grapes are selected and then harvested by hand and the berries are taken to the winery in 10 kilo boxes. It undergoes cold maceration for one or two days and then ferments for a maximum of 12 days with light pumping over and twice daily treading.
The resulting wine displays Intense red/violet colour. Fresh aromas of red fruit and even notes of black fruit on the nose. Ample mouthfeel interwoven with tannins and memories of fermentation with whole bunches. Finish with hints and nuances of a fresh and fruity wine. Perfect with charcuterie, hard cheese and roast meats
