"A combination of 7 vineyard blocks, utilising clones 95, 96, 76 and Gingin. All fermented wild in French oak (36% new). Some parcels (Dijon clones) underwent mlf to mitigate the acidity. Matured for 9 months in barrique, regular bâtonnage. The 2020 vintage in Margaret River has produced a tranche of effortless wines; powerful, ripe and with bright acidity. As ever, this is classy to the max - creamy, taut, restrained, nutty and super-fresh; all of it wrapped in a web of saline acidity and glossy phenolics."

"Medium-full yellow colour, bright and shiny, the bouquet strongly nutty, toasted nuts as well as fresh, some butterscotch touches, the oak just a little obvious. Rich in the mouth and generously proportioned, with lovely rounded shape and supple mouth-feel. Roasted hazelnut emerging. A touch of well-judged tannin on the aftertaste adds refreshing dryness and texture. (Now certified organic with ACO)."
