A testament to the Tasca family’s pioneering spirit, Vigna San Francesco Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the upper slopes of Regaleali’s historic San Francesco vineyard, at approximately 570 metres above sea level. Made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon and matured for 18 months in new French oak barrels, it combines Mediterranean generosity with freshness, structure and the capacity to develop with age.
Aromas of blackcurrant, ripe plum and blackberry unfold alongside dark chocolate, leather and refreshing eucalyptus nuances. Full-bodied and concentrated, the palate delivers generous dark fruit supported by firm, ripe tannins and balancing acidity. A lingering finish carries spice and balsamic notes—a distinctive Sicilian expression for lovers of serious Cabernet.
Have it with grilled rib-eye steak, rosemary-roasted lamb, braised beef short ribs or aged hard cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C, opening at least an hour before serving.
