Taking its name from the Sicilian word for “love,” Lamùri captures the Tasca family’s affection for their land and its signature red grape. Made entirely from Nero d’Avola grown in Regaleali’s hillside vineyards at 450–750 metres, it offers expressive fruit without excessive ripeness. Twelve months in French oak, predominantly previously used barrels, lend refinement and supple tannins while allowing the grape’s character to shine.
Aromas of woodland berries and blackberry, accented by sage and a subtle stony note, introduce a palate of ripe red and dark fruit. Silky in texture and lifted by lively acidity, the wine combines generosity with freshness, finishing with lingering blackberry and a bright citrus tang. An inviting, versatile red for sharing over a good meal.
