A generous, approachable Languedoc red made for relaxed, everyday enjoyment. The 2023 offers inviting aromas of ripe blackberry, black cherry and plum, accented by Mediterranean herbs, pepper and a light savoury note.
The palate is medium-bodied and supple, with juicy dark fruit, soft tannins and enough freshness to keep it lively. A touch of spice and garrigue carries through the smooth, easy-drinking finish. Excellent with grilled lamb or pork, roast chicken, sausages, burgers, pasta with tomato-based sauces, charcuterie and casual barbecue dishes. Serve at around 15–17°C. A brief 20–30 minutes of aeration will help the fruit open up.
