From one of Barbaresco’s most prestigious vineyards, Asili 2018 captures Nebbiolo’s compelling combination of fragrance, finesse and structure. Michele Chiarlo’s parcel extends over approximately one hectare, with southwest-facing slopes and blue-grey calcareous marl soils. A hot summer required careful crop thinning, while mild September days and cool nights encouraged gradual ripening and aromatic development. Harvest began on 7 October, delivering healthy, fully ripe grapes and a wine characterised by freshness, harmony and fine tannins.
