A highly distinctive, age-worthy Languedoc white made from an unconventional blend led by Viognier and Chardonnay, supported by Petit Manseng, Chenin Blanc and smaller proportions of other varieties. The result is aromatic and richly textured, yet lifted by freshness and a subtle mineral edge. The 2023 opens with a deep golden hue and an intense floral bouquet, followed by white peach, yellow plum, ripe citrus, fresh herbs and blanched almond. The palate is energetic and focused, with a lively opening that develops into generous ripe-fruit richness. A fine tannic texture and delicate bitters bring definition to the long, rounded finish. Excellent with grilled lobster, scallops, roast poultry, foie gras, creamy seafood dishes, grilled fish, mild curries and richer Cantonese seafood preparations. Serve at approximately 10–12°C. It is particularly attractive as an aperitif, though its texture and complexity make it a versatile gastronomic white.
