"It delivers a combo of regional flavour as much as varietal with its mulberries and cassis, nori and black olive tapenade with some floral aromas and baking spices. It feels as if it is still coming together, even a tad raw, but time will soothe all that. Dry, sandy tannins and plenty of acidity keep the medium-bodied palate shapely."

"Good depth of colour; walnut and almond savoury aromas with a dusty earthy note, the palate is medium bodied and lean-ish, the finish falling off a little early, but the wine is balanced and easygoing. A note of pencil-wood. The tannins are fine and mild, in keeping with the early drinking style of the wine."
