Blended from Felton Road’s four biodynamically farmed Bannockburn vineyards—The Elms, Cornish Point, Calvert and MacMuir—this is a superb introduction to the estate’s refined, terroir-driven style.
Lifted aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry, dark cherry and blood orange mingle with dried herbs, florals and gentle earthy spice. Medium-bodied and beautifully energetic, the palate offers succulent red and dark fruit framed by fine tannins and bright, precise acidity. Savoury notes of graphite, forest floor and pepper emerge on the long, balanced finish. Approachable now, yet structured to develop gracefully.
Have it with roast duck, grilled lamb cutlets, char siu, mushroom risotto or soy-glazed salmon.
Serve at 15–17°C; a brief 20–30-minute decant will help it open. Drink now–2035.
