The Kitterlé vineyard encompasses 25 hectares, characterised by sandy soils overlying a bedrock of pink sandstone and volcanic rock. Its steep, stone-walled terraces benefit from three distinct exposures—south-west, south, and south-east—which facilitate optimal ripening and the production of rich, refined wines. Yields are maintained at 25 hl/ha. The resulting wines display a golden yellow hue with nuanced aromas of exotic fruit, flint, floral notes, and citrus zest. The palate is marked by flavours of lime and aromatic herbs such as rosemary, culminating in an intense mineral finish.
"A beautiful white that shows a hint of cinnamon and spice, spread out on the top of chalky and flinty aromas, which themselves give way to guava peel and lemon zest. Quite long and powerful on the palate, which frames a tightly knit but robust portrait of zesty apricots and apples. Drink now."
