"An emblematic cuvée produced from the best cuvées selected from micaschist and gneiss terroirs. It is composed of 97% Syrah and 3% Viognier which gives it floral notes. Aged for 24 months in small casks called demi-muids. It perfectly expresses the richness and complexity of the Côte-Rôtie terroirs. Sustained color with mahogany and mauve reflections. Blooming nose with a smoky character where the fruit is clean and intense (plum in alcohol, cocoa). The palate is rich, energetic with a voluptuous elegance. The structure is patinated by the woodiness and a finish that is both persistent and velvety. The tannins are silky and crunchy and invite you to sit down to eat with game birds or a nice piece of beef."
