"Jean Ferté was the person who persuaded Nicolas Potel's parents to move to Burgundy, so it's fitting that there should be a wine named after him. This is a 60/40 cuvée of Aux Jarrons and Les Peuillets, fermented with 50% whole bunches and aged in 10% new wood. Sweet, tangy, savoury and autumnal with notes of aromatic spices and forest floor."

"Noticeable wood and menthol nuances surround the notably ripe aromas of plum liqueur, violet and soft warm earth nuances. The slightly finer though still obviously powerful flavors possess outstanding richness while delivering better depth and persistence on the firm and ever-so-slightly warm finale."
