"Clos des Fées renache Blanc Vieilles Vignes, which is made from Garnacha Blanca and Garnacha Gris grapes from old vines, some of which are over 100 years old. These plots are spread throughout the valley and have clay soils over bedrock, with the vines sharing their space with holm oaks and garrigues. There is significant influence from the Tramuntana wind and the Mediterranean sea breeze, and the vines are cultivated using traditional agriculture with manual harvesting and maximum attention to detail. When the grapes reach the winery, they are pneumatically pressed at low pressure. Then, the Garnacha Blanca grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks and the Garnacha Gris ferments in old barrels. Finally, this cuvée ages on its lees for 5 to 8 months in oak barrels and is refined in the bottle.
The result is magical. Clos des Fées Grenache Blanc Vieilles Vignes is a refined, fresh and sumptuous wine. A wine of the “fairies” (fées is French for fairies) that undoubtedly reflects the mysterious charm of the place and the colourful character of this multifaceted winegrower."
