"The excellent 2023 vintage sees a return to La Niña conditions in New Zealand, resulting in slightly lower than average Sauvignon Blanc yields. This is reflected in this wine’s intense, concentrated palate. This 2023 Sauvignon Blanc has an enticing nose, with appealing aromas of ripe honeydew melon, passionfruit, vibrant citrus and a subtle touch of fresh blackcurrant leaf. The palate is concentrated and elegant, with hints of fresh sea air balancing out the warmth of the ripe fruit notes at the wine’s core. The slightly riper tropical fruit is perfectly balanced by a zingy acidity and velvety texture. This wine is a natural match for almost any seafood. Other favourites include tempura oysters, sashimi, and steamed mussels with garlic, citrus and parsley. It’s also a great match for green salads and goats’ cheese. If it goes with lemon, it goes with Sauvignon Blanc."
