Distinctive Character. Layered Complexity.
Crafted from 60% Obaideh and 40% Merwah, two indigenous Lebanese varieties, Château Musar White 2018 offers a captivating expression of Lebanon’s mountain vineyards. Bright lemon-gold in colour, it reveals aromas of lemon and lime, woven with oregano, pine and fresh Mediterranean herbs. The palate combines pear and apple flavours with a gently creamy texture and subtle nutty nuances. Vibrant citrus acidity brings freshness and definition, carrying its layered flavours into a long, expressive finish.
A rewarding companion to herb-roasted chicken, grilled lobster with lemon butter or scallops in a light cream sauce, its combination of texture and citrus also complements seafood risotto and pâté. For a local pairing, try Cantonese lobster with ginger and spring onion, allowing the wine’s herbal complexity and freshness to complement the dish’s savoury richness.
Serve cellar cool at around 15°C, allowing several hours of breathing time to reveal its full aromatic character.
