Delicate Charm. Intriguing Complexity.
Distinctive and quietly captivating, Château Musar Rosé 2018 blends indigenous Lebanese varieties Obaideh and Merwah with a delicate touch of Cinsault. Its pale mandarin hue introduces fragrant raspberries and soft red berries, layered with tangerine, caramelised orange and gentle vanilla spice. Barrel fermentation and ageing lend subtle depth, while the dry palate unfolds with spiced citrus and delicate berry flavours—a rosé to savour slowly as its character develops in the glass.
A delightful aperitif, it also makes an elegant companion to grilled salmon, seafood tapas or prawns with citrus and herbs. For a local pairing, try Cantonese steamed fish with ginger and spring onion, allowing the wine’s delicate fruit and citrus nuances to complement the dish.
Serve cellar cool at around 15°C, opening a couple of hours beforehand to allow its aromatic complexity to unfold.
