Grand Cru Brut Rosé NV is a deeply vinous and gastronomic rosé composed of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay from Grand Cru vineyards in Ambonnay, Bouzy and Verzenay, including approximately 5% still red Pinot Noir from Ambonnay. Fermented in oak with indigenous yeasts and matured for around four years on its lees, it is finished with a very low dosage that preserves freshness and terroir expression.
Aromas of blood orange, wild strawberry, raspberry and pomegranate mingle with rose petals, brioche and gentle spice. Creamy and concentrated yet beautifully precise, the palate combines vibrant red fruit with fine bubbles, refreshing citrus acidity and a long, chalky, lightly savoury finish. It pairs superbly with salmon or tuna tartare, lobster, roast duck, char siu, Peking duck, pork belly, charcuterie and mushroom dishes.
More structured and complex than most rosé Champagnes, it offers the depth to accompany an entire meal and the ageing potential to develop greater savoury complexity over the next decade.
