Block 3 is one of Felton Road’s most prestigious and age-worthy Pinot Noirs. Sourced from the biodynamically farmed Elms Vineyard, its deep Waenga soils consistently produce a wine of exceptional power, structure and complexity.
Initially restrained, the 2024 gradually reveals ripe strawberry, raspberry, dark cherry and plum, layered with granite, smoky earth, dark chocolate and exotic spice. The palate is concentrated and authoritative, with a pure core of dark fruit framed by muscular, finely textured tannins and vibrant acidity. Mineral tension and savoury detail carry through an exceptionally long finish. A profound young Pinot Noir that demands patience.
Pair with roast duck, venison, herb-crusted lamb, beef Wellington or truffle and mushroom dishes.
If opened young, decant for at least two hours. Drinking window: 2030–2042+.
