It starts in quite a restrained fashion but then the pure fruit intensifies magically towards the back of the palate, never becoming too fleshy and all held in place by the backbone of steel. Excellent tension throughout. Drink from 2027-2036. Tasted: October 2023."

Honeysuckle, ripe citrus and soft spice wisps lead to succulent but decidedly punchy medium weight flavors that possess a markedly more refined texture before terminating in a sappy, clean and nicely dry finale. This impressively long effort could use better depth so at least mid-term cellaring should prove to be beneficial.*Burghound Sweet Spot Outstanding!*"
