"Crafted from old vines of a massal selection on Kimmeridgian soil situated in the lieu-dit Les Sentiers in the commune of Sury-en-Vaux, the 2022 Sancerre Monoparcelle 469 evokes aromas of minerals, fresh-cut grass and hints of citrus complemented by deeper notes of pear and white peach. Medium to full-bodied, seamless and mouth coating, it’s perfectly balanced with a fleshy core of fruit, bright acids and a dense, long, mineral-laced finish. Matured for 18 months in demi-muids, it’s a very pretty wine."

"A compact and mineral-driven version, this seems austere at first but slowly opens to reveal a deep well of verbena and tarragon, with elderflower high tones. Crackling acidity keeps pace throughout, buoying green fruit and a layer of fresh herbs and chives. Still bound up with white tea tannins, this will unfurl in time. Pure and precise. Drink now through 2032. 150 cases made."
