"Focused and direct aromas of stone, dried apple, lemon and bread dough follow through to a full-bodied palate with a framed and vivid character. It’s very dry and finely textured with well-crafted bubbles. Dry at the finish. A serious Champagne with lots of verve. Serve as a lively aperitif or as an accompaniment to food, such as raw fish. Drink now or hold."

"In a sign of a world of riper Champagne grapes, this familiar brand now has a zero-dosage version. It is certainly crisp and dry, but the richness of the fruit gives it a fine balance. This bottling could be kept for a few months for the tight texture to open out."
