This is a rare and compelling expression of Chardonnay from the Pinot Noir–dominant Grand Cru village of Aÿ, offering both purity and unexpected depth. Aromas of lemon zest, white peach and citrus blossom are layered with notes of toasted hazelnut, almond and subtle spice from oak ageing. The palate is creamy yet precise, combining richness with a fine mineral backbone, revealing flavours of ripe orchard fruit, salted nuts and chalk. Silky and vinous in texture, it finishes long, saline and elegantly structured. A serious Blanc de Blancs with real presence, it pairs beautifully with lobster, turbot, roasted poultry or aged cheeses, making it ideal for both the table and short-term cellaring.
