"The 2018 Chablis Valmur Grand Cru was vinified and matured in 3- to 5-year-old barrels. This has a brighter and better delineated bouquet than the Blanchot, featuring light citrus fruit, lemon verbena and subtle nougat aromas. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity and a little spicy in personality, delivering admirable depth and a cohesive finish that sports just the right amount of salinity. This is very promising."
