Ca’ del Bosco Selva della Tesa Chardonnay 2020 is the estate’s serious still white wine — a 100% Chardonnay from certified organic vineyards in Lombardy, first produced in 1983 and renamed “Selva della Tesa” from the 2019 vintage in honour of the vineyard where the wine was born. Fermented in small oak casks and bottle-aged for over three years, it shows a polished, Burgundian-inspired style with aromas of golden apple, ripe citrus, white peach, hazelnut, vanilla, almond, fine oak and subtle mineral notes. The palate is full and textured yet precise, with creamy richness balanced by fresh acidity and a long, elegant mineral finish. A refined Italian Chardonnay for fine dining, pairing beautifully with lobster, scallops, roast chicken, turbot, crab pasta, mushroom risotto, veal, creamy cheeses and white truffle dishes.
