The palate is medium-bodied and finely textured, with supple tannins and savoury complexity leading to a long, refined finish. The character of the wine is shaped in part by the 2012 Rioja vintage, a year marked by very dry conditions and low yields, which naturally concentrated the fruit while producing grapes of excellent health. Late-season rains helped restore balance during ripening, resulting in wines with good structure, ripe tannins and balanced alcohol, well suited for long ageing.
