"Bizeul's 2018 IGP Cotes Catalanes Pinot Noir Jeunes Vignes Aimer, Rever, Prier, Se Taire seems a step off the quality of the 2017 and 2015, which I reviewed so enthusiastically last year. It's still a riveting example of north-facing Pinot Noir grown at altitude, with layers of dark fruit, hints of sous-bois and just a kiss of oak, but it seems a touch ripe and perhaps a bit chocolaty. It's medium to full-bodied, with dusty tannins that deserve a couple of years to mellow."
