This is a carefully crafted Burgundy wine from one of the top 1er Crus in Gevrey. The cooler site boasts a stream of fresh air flowing through the Combe, with a south facing slope directly adjacent to Clos St. Jacques. It is made from 70+ year old vines with 30% hand-cut whole cluster, fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged 17 months in barrels (70% new). Unfined and unfiltered, it offers a complex and nuanced character.
