"Aromas of dried strawberries and cherries with hints of rose petal and leather. Full body, chewy tannins and a flavorful finish. Still needs a year or two to soften. Better in 2020."

"The 2014 Barbaresco Asili is a little shy or subdued in terms of its aromatic intensity when you first approach the glass. It does open soon enough, and when it does, the wine shows slightly sweet or ripe notes of dried raspberry and strawberry. This primary intensity adds power and depth to this carefully balanced Nebbiolo."
